The new mechanical design makes tube care much easier. The probe no longer needs to be disassembled to replace a tiny "coupler".
The probe tip of the XGD probe is simply pulled off and can be replaced in seconds without the risk of damaging the probe transducers through untrained handling.
The manufacturer recommends changing the probe tips after every 10 measurements or earplug changes.
Replace the holder for the earplugs immediately if it is contaminated with cerumen.

XGD universal probe for the measurement of TEOAE and/or DPOAE as well as AABR. For use with all Otoport devices from Otodynamics: Otoport Advance , Otoport TE , Otoport Lite and Otoport Screener. (Firmware may need to be updated to 2022 revision level).The XGD probe is equipped with an internal filter that fully protects the microphone and speaker ports.
