Vitalograph calibration pump

The calibration pump enables the documentation of the measurement accuracy according to the spirometry standard within your practice QM system.
Within a quality management system, the documentation of the measurement accuracy can become relevant. International spirometry standards such as ATS/ERS therefore recommend a daily check of the measurement accuracy of all spirometers, regardless of the manufacturer.
Contemporary spirometers should be able to be checked according to the international standards, but should not necessarily need to be checked daily. An accuracy check using a 3-litre calibration pump is recommended:

- As individually determined by the operator within his (practice) quality management system in terms of frequency and necessity.
- As part of the recommended annual maintenance
- After cleaning or disassembly of the spirometer, regardless of the reason
- After changing the calibration
- If the measuring head has been dropped

With our highly accurate, robust and lightweight 3 litre calibration pump, the accuracy of Vitalograph spirometers can be checked and documented even in the field. Of course, our pump can also be used with devices from other manufacturers, although an adapter is sometimes required.
